Well this was it, we finally got out with the new Marmelade. Now powered by a 1400 hayabusa engine and using a set of old slicks off a formula Renault car we were ready to go.
Chris had had a little seat time the day before but Guy was completely new to the car. Once we had found Gary Smith who helped get the back end more compliant we were off and it was fantastic!
There was more tinkering, brake balance was way out and there was a minor issue with the throttle pedal position but apart from that it was fantastic and the old slicks gave a load of grip.
A great day was had and Guy finished on a 101.97 with Chris just 2 hundredths behind.
